Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denver Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Broly Goku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Broly Goku will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Broly Goku!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Vasquez with that takedown attempt.
Vasquez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Goku circles away.
Goku keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Denver Vasquez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vasquez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Goku tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vasquez is in Goku's guard.
Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.
Goku is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Goku has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vasquez prevents Goku from getting back to his feet.
Goku looking for a sweep. Not yet Goku, not yet.

Goku looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vasquez is one step ahead there.
Vasquez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Goku manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vasquez manages to get himself to full guard.

Goku stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Goku tries to clinch but Vasquez moves out of range.
Goku tries to close the distance and clinch but Vasquez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Goku digs a good body shot into Vasquez's ribs.
Vasquez is breathing heavily.

Vasquez throws a wild hook but Goku just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Vasquez gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Goku raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
