The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weeping looks to land a left hand but Sammich moved out of range nicely.

Weeping fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sammich sprawls well initially but Weeping persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

It looks like Softly Weeping has been cut.
Sammich connects with a good right hand that stumbles Weeping. Weeping circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Weeping fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sammich has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Sammich lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Weeping can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Sammich and Weeping drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Sammich.

In his post fight interview, Sammy Sammich started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
