The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Longworth has closed the distance and engaged Parcins in a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Longworth.

Longworth jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Parcins walks away with a smile on his face. Longworth gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Parcins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Longworth has hold of one of Parcins's legs. Parcins is fighting the takedown attempt but Longworth gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Longworth cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Longworth wants to finish this one by submission but Parcins is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Longworth.

Longworth pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Parcins is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Longworth lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Longworth punching from mount but Parcins doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Longworth jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Parcins is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Parcins and Longworth has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Vinnie Longworth has got the better of the ground game so far.
Longworth tries to score with some ground and pound. Parcins controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Longworth has hold of Parcins's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Parcins tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Longworth cranks the arm and Parcins screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Parcins, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
