PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Tucker with that takedown attempt.
Clark drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Tucker defends it well.
Tucker shoots in for a takedown but Clark shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tucker.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Tucker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice takedown defense from Tucker. No joy for Clark on that attempt.

Clark punishes Tucker's body with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tucker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clark circles away.
Tucker looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Tucker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clark was covering up waiting for the punch and Tucker finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Clark is not content to let Tucker control the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Tucker is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Clark is trying to escape and Tucker transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Clark is forced to tap! Nice work there by Tucker! Very nice indeed!
