Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buford Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Anders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Buford Schultz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Anders!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anders moves into the clinch.

Schultz is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Anders is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Anders lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Schultz down.
Schultz can't do much from the bottom here.
Schultz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Schultz is not content to let Anders control the position.
Schultz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anders is working away from the top position though.

Anders wants to work for an arm triangle but Schultz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Anders tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Schultz.
Schultz is looking to control Anders's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Schultz avoid being mounted?

Ben Anders showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Schultz tries to sprawl but Anders drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Schultz is not content to let Anders control the position.
Schultz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Anders.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anders trying to advance position but Schultz counters by regaining guard.
Schultz controls Anders momentarily but Anders frees himself.

Schultz wants to stand and escape but Anders is having none of it.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Ben Anders.
Well Anders has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
