Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raptor Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogue Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Four defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones.
Four tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jones shoots in but Four avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Four steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Jones.
Four lands with a shot to the body.

Four has managed to clinch.

Four pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Four avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones goes for a double leg but Four avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Four continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raptor Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Four defends well and Jones ends up having to push Four into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jones misses with a body shot.

Jones shoots in but no luck this time.

Four clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.

Four has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jones regains guard immediately.

Jones working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Four has passed into half guard!
Four moves into full mount! Jones won't be happy about that!
My spies in Roosters Coop inform me that Four has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Jones can't escape the position.

Four throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Jones has his hands clasped together but Four breaks the hold and Jones is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Four!
