Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmie Craig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hughtavious Mingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmie Craig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hughtavious Mingo!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craig takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mingo cracks a nice hook into Craig's ribs.
Mingo avoids the body shot from Craig.
We've been told by Craig's head coaches at World Combat Gym - NY that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A telegraphed right hand from Craig misses the target.
Mingo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Craig takes a swing at Mingo's ribcage but misses.
Mingo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Craig.
Mingo unleashes a big counter combination but Craig bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Craig fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mingo.
A shot to the body from Craig misses
and Mingo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Jimmie Craig has been cut.
Craig looks to throw a body kick
and Mingo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Craig.
Craig throws a combination that misses
and Mingo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Craig thinking.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mingo swinging wildly here.
Craig looks for the body kick but Mingo saw that one coming.
Craig keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Craig takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Craig is breathing heavily.
Mingo ducks under a wild hook from Craig.
Mingo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A punch combination from Mingo misses.

Mingo cracks Craig with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Craig looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mingo finish him?

Craig is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Craig drops his hands momentarily. Mingo doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Craig staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Craig doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

During a confident post fight interview, Hughtavious Mingo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
