The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tuilagi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pain shoots in for a double leg but Tuilagi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tuilagi connects with a nice short shot to Pain's temple.

Tuilagi wants to control the pace but Pain is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tuilagi has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pain's face.
Pain is looking to improve his position but Tuilagi isn't that keen on the idea.
Tuilagi lands a big shot there that rocks Pain but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tuilagi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pain can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

A big strike lands for Tuilagi! That's really hurt Pain and he's turned his back - Tuilagi keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Tuilagi jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
