The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schreder shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Downs is looking to escape.
Schreder thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Downs's head.
Schreder blocks the strikes from Downs.
Downs tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Downs flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Nice strikes from Schreder there.
Downs has hold of Schreder's hands but Schreder slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Schreder lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schreder is nestled in close to Downs, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Schreder lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Downs! More strikes land and this one is all over! Schreder jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
