Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between High Voltage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Fuhr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Voltage might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thunderstruck. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice combo by Voltage! Oh, that's hurt him - Fuhr falls to the canvas and Voltage follows him into side control.

It looks like Grant Fuhr has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fuhr throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Fuhr is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Fuhr is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Fuhr manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Fuhr is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Fuhr looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Voltage moves into full guard.
Fuhr trying to control the position from guard on top but Voltage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fuhr postures up in Voltage's guard and throws a big left but Voltage blocks it.
Fuhr throws and elbow that misses. Voltage uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fuhr's guard. Nice move by Voltage!
Fuhr is looking to sweep but instead, Voltage has passed into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Voltage decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Voltage drops Fuhr with a beautiful combination! Fuhr stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Voltage is looking for the KO!
Voltage cracks Fuhr with a left hook right on the temple and Fuhr goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Voltage lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Fuhr is OK!
