The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Estima checks the leg kick nicely there.
Estima shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Estima was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Estima has control of an arm but Cooper manages to advance to Estima's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Estima rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Estima wants to control but Cooper is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Estima keeping hold of Cooper's head, controlling as best he can.
Estima is looking to get back to full guard here but Cooper has managed to pass to side control instead.
Cooper could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Estima is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cooper off and has taken his back!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Estima's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Cooper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cooper is trying to defend against the choke here but Estima has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Estima Tightens the hold and Cooper taps out furiously! Estima displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
