Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Clements (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Beyett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andreas Clements has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andreas Clements!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Diego Beyett!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beyett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Clements pinned against the cage. Clements gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Diego Beyett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beyett is trying hard to land a takedown here. Clements sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Clements moves in looking to clinch but Beyett pushes him off.
Beyett tries to counter with a clinch but Clements shakes him off and moves away.

Clements closes the distance and pushes Beyett back into the cage.
Clements is trying to pull guard but Beyett turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Beyett stands and steps away. Clements gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Clements looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Beyett with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Clements will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Clements wants to take a breather but Beyett is having none of it.

Beyett shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clements as he avoids it easily.

Beyett had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Clements defends it easily.

Clements has closed the distance and engaged Beyett in a clinch.
Clements jumps guard but Beyett turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Clements jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Beyett walks away with a smile on his face. Clements gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Clements tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Beyett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Beyett changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Beyett shoots in looking for a takedown but Clements manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beyett's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looked like Clements was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Beyett closes the distance and clinches up with Clements, looking for a takedown. Beyett pushes Clements against the cage but Clements circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Clements is pressed up against the cage. Beyett has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Clements down to the mat. Clements avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

I would just about give that final round to Diego Beyett.
