Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Herger Ysengrin!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Griffin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ysengrin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Griffin drops his hands momentarily and Ysengrin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Griffin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ysengrin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ysengrin scores with a hook.

Ysengrin clinches up with Griffin and pushes him back against the ropes.
Ysengrin lands a body shot.
Griffin looking to slow down the pace here.
Griffin tries to pull guard but Ysengrin forces him back to his feet, against the ropes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ysengrin is leaning against Griffin and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Griffin is trying to pull guard but Ysengrin turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.

Ysengrin lands a hook to the side of the head.
A short body shot lands from Ysengrin as the two fighters clinch.
Ysengrin lands a body shot.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Griffin trying to stall but Ysengrin improves his position.
Ysengrin effectively controlling the action here.
Ysengrin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Ysengrin taking a breather.
Ysengrin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Griffin backwards.
Ysengrin cracks Griffin with a nice body shot.
Griffin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ysengrin just stands there and leans against the ropes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronald Griffin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ysengrin.

Ysengrin has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Griffin is trying to keep an underhook but Ysengrin manages to get the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ysengrin is looking to take a break and control but Griffin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ysengrin not doing much here.

Griffin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ysengrin pulls his head out easily.
Ysengrin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Griffin is looking to control Ysengrin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Griffin avoid being mounted?

Griffin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ysengrin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Griffin gets back to full guard.
Ysengrin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ysengrin trying to control the position from guard on top but Griffin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Griffin is trying to keep Ysengrin in close.
Ysengrin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ysengrin.
Griffin appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Griffin takes one to the side of the head.
A cross from Ysengrin lands.
Ysengrin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ysengrin cracks Griffin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ysengrin jabs Griffin right on the nose. Griffin blinks but takes it well.
Ysengrin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Ysengrin lands with a cross.

Ysengrin lands a big right hand that sends Griffin crashing to the mat! Ysengrin stays standing though and waves Griffin back to his feet!


Griffin is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Herger Ysengrin dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Ysengrin cracks Griffin on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Griffin falls backwards against the ropes. Ysengrin follows up with more strikes that drop Griffin to his knees. Ysengrin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Griffin! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Herger Ysengrin!
