Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maester Ochu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belt takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Belt shoots in but no luck this time.
Ochu attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Belt shoots for a double leg takedown but Ochu sprawls well. He's pushed Belt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ochu fires out a quick counter leg kick but Belt just manages to avoid it.

Belt has Ochu up against the cage in a clinch.
Ochu scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Belt has Ochu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ochu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Maester Ochu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Black Belt.
Belt tries to pull guard but Ochu won't allow it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ochu creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Ochu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Belt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ochu's waist but Ochu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Belt off to one side.

Belt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ochu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Belt somewhat.

Belt goes for a double leg but Ochu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ochu continues to drive forward.
Belt tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ochu defends well and Belt ends up having to push Ochu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Ochu wants to get back to his feet but Belt is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Ochu manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ochu is pressed up against the cage. Belt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ochu down to the mat. Ochu avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Belt misses with a takedown attempt - Ochu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Black Belt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Belt has taken the fight to the clinch.
Belt seems to have recovered his senses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been told by Ochu's head coaches at German Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
