Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Opdauhl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike McCallum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Barry Opdauhl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike McCallum!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Francis DeMontford and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Opdauhl throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Opdauhl lands a head kick. McCallum smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Mike McCallum has been cut.
Nice body punch from Opdauhl.
McCallum shoots in and drives through. Opdauhl sprawls well.
McCallum has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Opdauhl finds it's way round the side to connect with McCallum's head.
Opdauhl gets off balance looking for a body kick
and McCallum counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Opdauhl dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McCallum lands the left hand.
McCallum takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
McCallum shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A chopping leg kick lands by Opdauhl.
Opdauhl lets loose with a powerful body kick. McCallum will feel that in the morning.
McCallum dives in for a single leg takedown but Opdauhl sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Barry Opdauhl has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike McCallum.
McCallum fails with the takedown.
McCallum on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Opdauhl. Opdauhl obviously looking to wear him down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Opdauhl closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops McCallum! Opdauhl dives in looking to finish! McCallum is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barry Opdauhl!
