Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Garth Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Sai!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sai fails with the takedown.
Gordon throws a big counter combination but Sai scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Sai shoots in for a takedown but Gordon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sai shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gordon defends it nicely.
Garth Gordon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Sai.
Gordon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sai's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sai is looking for a sweep. Gordon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Gordon thows a huge punch but Sai dodges it nicely.

Gordon seems to be working for a kimura but Sai defends the submission attempt.

Sai has hold of Gordon's hands but Gordon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gordon lands a nice short elbow.

Gordon seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Gordon seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Sai is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
