Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Helio Perrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Pasha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perrera throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Perrera blocks a jab.
Perrera swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pasha defending well as Perrera loads up on a big left hand.
Pasha keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Perrera throws an overhand right that lands on Pasha's shoulder, as Pasha tries to avoid the shot.

and Pasha counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Perrera counters with a single leg into guard. Pasha didn't expect that.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Perrera accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Perrera postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pasha is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Perrera, into his guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Perrera takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Perrera throws a chopping leg kick but Pasha manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Perrera steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pasha. That one must have hurt.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Perrera is defended easily by Pasha.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pasha. Perrera does a little dance to reset his feet.

Perrera fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pasha manages to avoid it.

Perrera is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Pasha.

Perrera tries to counter by clinching up but Pasha breaks away and moves out of range.

The fighters circling - Pasha throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Perrera fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A little jabbing left from Pasha on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Perrera takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Perrera is looking to wear down Pasha with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Perrera shoots in and bounces Pasha off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Perrera working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pasha's head.
Perrera is in close to Pasha's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Pasha regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Perrera.
Pasha wants to improve his position but instead Perrera has moved into half guard.
Perrera seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Pasha working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Perrera doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Perrera manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
