Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tracy King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gordon Loveslo!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loveslo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Loveslo is working away from the top position though.
King misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Loveslo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks King with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
King trying to hold on to Loveslo's head to control him but Loveslo postures up.
Loveslo wants to pass to mount but King is defending the position.
King is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Loveslo pulls his head out easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loveslo landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
King is looking to escape.
Loveslo controlling the action here.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Loveslo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Loveslo decides to pull guard.
King missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Loveslo has his hands on King's head, controlling the position.
Loveslo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Loveslo looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Loveslo throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
King wants to stand but Loveslo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Loveslo controlling King's posture.

Loveslo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! King has his hands clasped together but Loveslo extends and breaks King's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Loveslo.
