Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Boon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Django Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boon comes to the cage accompanied by American Ninja 2 OST - Truckin'. Brown is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by System Of A Down - Chic 'N' Stu. Kirk Boon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Django Brown's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown moves in looking to clinch but Boon pushes him off.
Boon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brown pinned against the cage. Brown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brown has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Boon is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Boon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brown to the mat! Brown manages to get full guard.
Boon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Brown is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Boon drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Boon off! Boon jumps back into Brown's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!

Boon is looking to regain half guard here but Brown keeps moving and retains side control.
Boon is working hard here to advance position.

Brown tries to stand but Boon is controlling from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Boon's legs - danger averted.

Boon has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though.
Brown wanted to stand there but Boon had control of the position.

Boon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brown gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Boon shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Boon dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Boon's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kirk Boon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brown, as that shot connected.
Django Brown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Boon is breathing heavily.
Brown scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Boon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Brown counters with a good low kick that Boon was not able to check.
Brown scores with a sloppy right hand. Boon should have avoided that one.
Brown scores with a decent looking hook.
Boon misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice takedown defense from Brown. No joy for Boon on that attempt.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Brown! Boon is out on his feet! Brown rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Boon is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Boon is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
