The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gama throws a head kick that misses
and Fighter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gama pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gama throws a sloppy head kick
and Fighter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Fighter blocks a head kick by Gama.
Gama throws a sloppy head kick and Fighter moves out of range easily.
Fighter is looking to counter punch.
Fighter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fighter stands and throws Gama's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Fighter is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Gama is trying to escape and Fighter transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Gama is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fighter! Very nice indeed!
