Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bernado Goncalves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Hebster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goncalves comes to the cage accompanied by Wind of Change - Scorpions. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tom Hebster!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goncalves shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hebster but Hebster pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Goncalves fails with a takedown attempt.
Hebster throws a counter combo.
Goncalves shoots in looking for a takedown but Hebster manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Goncalves's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Goncalves tries to pull guard but Hebster forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Goncalves tries a body shot but Hebster blocks it.
Goncalves trying to stall but Hebster improves his position.

Hebster gets underhooks to prevent Goncalves's takedown attempt.

Goncalves has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hebster clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Goncalves is looking for a rear naked choke here but Hebster reverses the position brilliantly into Goncalves's guard!

Goncalves has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Goncalves is trying to control the position but Hebster postures up.

Goncalves wants to control the position but Hebster says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Goncalves shoots for a double leg takedown but Hebster sprawls well. He's pushed Goncalves's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Goncalves shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hebster pinned against the cage. Hebster gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Goncalves wants to stand but Hebster has his arm trapped.
Hebster wants to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Goncalves tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Goncalves has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Tom Hebster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Goncalves tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hebster smiles and moves away.

Hebster stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hebster wants it to stay on the feet.
As Goncalves backs off Hebster throws a huge counter combo but Goncalves manages to avoid it all.
Bernado Goncalves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hebster blocks a head kick by Goncalves.
Goncalves changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hebster tries to avoid it but Goncalves manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hebster to the ground. Hebster escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Despite the aggression on Hebster's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
We've been told by Goncalves's head coaches at Nordic Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Hebster tries a body shot but Goncalves blocks it.
Goncalves is trying to drag Hebster to the mat but Hebster just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Goncalves tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hebster avoids it.
A right hook to the body lands for Hebster.
Hebster makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Hebster gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Goncalves.

Goncalves manages to break the clinch.
Goncalves dives in for a single leg takedown but Hebster sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Hebster counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Hebster misses with a short punch on the inside.
Goncalves is trying to drag Hebster to the mat but Hebster just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hebster digs a right hand underneath Goncalves's ribcage. Goncalves let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Goncalves drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hebster pulls his leg out and moves away.

Hebster instigates a clinch.
Hebster misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hebster misses with some punches.
Hebster lands with a light punch inside.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tom Hebster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hebster has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
