Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivory Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zach Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ivory Guerrero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zach Cooper!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Guerrero drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cooper sprawls and moves away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Guerrero or perhaps it was just good defense by Cooper, which made it look bad.

Cooper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cooper throws a strike aimed at the side of Guerrero's head but Guerrero avoids it well.
Guerrero wants to get back to his feet but Cooper drags him back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guerrero wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Guerrero is pushing Cooper's head away, looking to escape. Cooper manages to hold on to the position though.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The strikes coming from Cooper are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Guerrero really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Guerrero's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Cooper is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Guerrero is defending well though. Cooper let's go of the attempt for now.

Guerrero is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cooper gets his way!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Guerrero is trying to get back to his feet but Cooper has full control of the position and if anything, Guerrero has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Guerrero is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Zach Cooper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Cooper misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Cooper ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Cooper has closed the distance and engaged Guerrero in a clinch.

Cooper tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Guerrero blocks a head kick by Cooper.
Guerrero finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Cooper's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Guerrero falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
