Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Jabber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mordecai Wollsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Jabber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Mordecai Wollsey!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabber connects with a single shot there.
Jabber looks to throw the jab but Wollsey is out of range.
Wollsey avoids the head kick by Jabber.
Jabber just misses with a punch to the body.
Wollsey takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wollsey feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jabbers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wollsey pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jabber has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Lock and Roll Grappling Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Wollsey avoids a kick to the body.
Jabber stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wollsey.
Wollsey avoids the head kick by Jabber.
Wollsey lunges at Jabber with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jabber's hand.
Wollsey is looking to land body kicks.
Jabber lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wollsey circles away quickly and effectively.
Jim Jabber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jabber takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wollsey throws a half hearted mid kick.
A jab from Wollsey misses.
Wollsey throws a hook to the side of Jabber's head but Jabber sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jabber throws a body kick that misses.
Jabber rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wollsey cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wollsey swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jim Jabber is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jabber checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Wollsey missing with a left hand there. Jabber was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wollsey lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wollsey throws a head kick that Jabber semi-blocks.
Jabber cracks Wollsey with an open hand slap.
Jabber lands a jab to the nose.
Jabber moves out of range of the body kick from Wollsey.
Jabber is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A slow jab from Wollsey misses its intended target.

Wollsey manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jabber on his heels. He'll look to pass Jabber's guard now, I'm sure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wollsey is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Jabber looking for a sweep. Not yet Jabber, not yet.
Wollsey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Wollsey chips away with some ground and pound.
Jabber keeping moving, preventing Wollsey from controlling successfully.

Wollsey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Wollsey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jabber is keeping the position for now.
Jabber working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wollsey.
Jabber looking for a sweep. Not yet Jabber, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wollsey working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jabber's head.
Wollsey throwing strikes from guard but Jabber blocks nicely.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Jabber - that will leave a mark!
Jabber connects with a jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jabber, as that shot connected.
Jabber lands with an overhand left.
Jabber throws out a leg kick but Wollsey moves out of range and Jabber only half commits.
Wollsey looks for a takedown but Jabber sprawls well.
Jabber tries to land a body kick
and Wollsey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice shot by Wollsey.

Wollsey dives in and scores a takedown into Jabber's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jabber throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Wollsey loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Wollsey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Jabber looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wollsey is one step ahead there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wollsey is looking to work some ground and pound but Jabber has wrist control.
Wollsey trying to control but Jabber is working from the bottom.
Wollsey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Wollsey trying to control but Jabber is working from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Wollsey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wollsey showed some decent athleticism there.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wollsey connects with a nice short shot to Jabber's temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mordecai Wollsey dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Jabber missing with a left hand there. Wollsey was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wollsey needs to keep his hands up - Jabber had a free shot at his head there.
Wollsey loads up on a big right hand but Jabber slips the punch.
Jabber throws a half hearted mid kick.
Good leg kick by Jabber there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wollsey connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wollsey throws a nice looking combination but Jabber bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jabber takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wollsey or perhaps it was just good defense by Jabber, which made it look bad.
Wollsey moves out of range of the body kick.
Jabber throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jabber scores with a jab to the jaw.


Wollsey is rocked!
Jabber shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Wollsey takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Jabber sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Wollsey bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jim Jabber!
A relieved looking Jim Jabber thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
