Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Doyle Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Datu Puti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Datu Puti will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puti misses with a head kick.
Norris really is a fat lump.
Puti lands with a right hand.

It looks like Doyle Norris has been cut.
Puti throws a head kick that misses
and Norris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Puti throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Norris was covering up waiting for the punch and Puti finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Norris had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Puti defends it easily.
Norris wants to sweep here but Puti controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puti would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Puti trying to control but Norris is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Norris has his foot on Puti's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Puti works his way back into a safe position though.
Puti lands a couple of elbows.
Puti throws a big elbow that misses.

Norris is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Puti defends well.
Puti trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Norris manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Norris gets to his feet. Puti looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Puti lands a big head kick that sends Norris tumbling to the mat! Puti takes a step backwards and waves Norris back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Norris is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Puti throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Norris crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
