The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pakkanen throws a looping overhand right but White ducks down to avoid it.
White tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pakkanen swivels and escapes.
The fighters circling - Pakkanen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pakkanen throws a combination that misses
and White counters with a left and a right that stings Pakkanen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pakkanen throws out a loose jab but White uses good head movement to avoid it.
It looked like White was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
White shoots in for a takedown but Pakkanen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathaniel White. That's going to take a lot out of him.

White tries for a takedown but Pakkanen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
White closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Nathaniel White has been cut.
A big right from Pakkanen misses.
As Pakkanen looks to move away, White throws a big counter combo bu Pakkanen just gets out of the way.
Pakkanen thuds his right hand into White's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

White is rocked!
Pakkanen fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks White square on the jaw! Damn, White is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
