Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Weston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasputin Erasmus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erasmus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rasputin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weston throws a nice inside leg kick.

Weston uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Erasmus.

It looks like Matt Weston has been cut.
Erasmus throws an overhand right that lands on Weston's shoulder, as Weston tries to avoid the shot.
Weston tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Erasmus manages to circle out of the way.
Erasmus misses with a body shot.

Weston seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

and Weston makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Rasputin Erasmus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circle momentarily. Erasmus darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Erasmus was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Weston lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Erasmus tries to break the clinch but Weston is controlling the position.

Erasmus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Weston waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Erasmus.
Erasmus appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Erasmus let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Weston lands a nice leg kick that just misses Erasmus's sensitive parts.

Erasmus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Weston has him pressed against the cage.

Weston drops Erasmus onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Erasmus is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

The cut above Rasputin Erasmus's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
