Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam McQuaid!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belanger closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McQuaid's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McQuaid had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Belanger defends it easily.

McQuaid looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Belanger is working McQuaid over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McQuaid is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Belanger defends well.

Belanger postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! McQuaid covers up, he's hurt! Belanger keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Belanger and the ref steps in to end the fight! Belanger can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
