Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keith Haring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathieu Patrice Boulpiquante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Haring misses
and Boulpiquante finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Haring scores with a jab to the jaw.

Boulpiquante instigates a clinch.
Haring misses with a hook to the ribs.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Haring.
Boulpiquante digs a right hand underneath Haring's ribcage. Haring let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Boulpiquante.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boulpiquante crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Haring - the referee stops the clock and Boulpiquante gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Haring. Boulpiquante manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Haring misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Haring throws a hook but Boulpiquante blocks it.

The crowd cheers as Boulpiquante lands an impressive looking overhand right. Haring doesn't seem phased though.

Haring connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Boulpiquante lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Haring at a distance.
Good leg kick by Haring there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Boulpiquante moves into range and connects with a jab.
Haring takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Haring takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Oh Haring is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

so Boulpiquante counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Haring seems to have got his legs back now.
Boulpiquante controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Boulpiquante drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boulpiquante jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Haring knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boulpiquante on the ground.

Haring is posturing up here but Boulpiquante has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Haring tries to roll out but it's too tight and Haring has to tap! Slick submission there by Boulpiquante!

Mathieu Patrice Boulpiquante spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
