Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timo Vesala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vesala comes to the cage accompanied by Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Timo Vesala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ron Paul!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Paul.
Paul closes the distance looking to clinch
and Vesala counters with a straight right hand.
Paul uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vesala.

Paul shoots in and bounces Vesala off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Paul is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Vesala is keeping busy.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Timo Vesala.
