The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gavin scores with a jab. France acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Gavin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but France checks it well.
France throws a lazy right hand but Gavin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gavin avoids the head kick by France.
Gavin changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
France misses with an uppercut
and Gavin counters with a nice body kick.
France connects with a looping right hand.
Gavin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
France tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
France moves out of range of the leg kick from Gavin.

France shoots in for a double leg but Gavin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

France really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That was a close second round but I would say that Darwin France will probably get the nod.
