The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon is looking to land body kicks.
Moon swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hardy.

Howard Moon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Moon looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Hardy moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Moon.

Moon drops his hands momentarily and Hardy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Moon darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Moon will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

We've been informed that Moon has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Moon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hardy.
Hardy is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
