The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karadjov gets caught napping as Lasson dives in and scores a takedown. Karadjov manages to retain guard.
Karadjov is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Karadjov keeping moving, preventing Lasson from controlling successfully.
Karadjov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lasson looking to pass the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karadjov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lasson trying to control but Karadjov is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Lasson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A combination from Karadjov does no damage.
Karadjov tries to bum rush Lasson with a series of wild strikes but Lasson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Karadjov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Lasson wants to improve his position but Karadjov is controlling well.
Lasson wants to control but Karadjov is keeping busy.

Lasson looking for submissions off his back.
Karadjov is trying to control the action in half guard but Lasson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Karadjov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Karadjov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lasson wants to control but Karadjov is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Karadjov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lasson quickly recovers to half guard.
Lasson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lasson.
Karadjov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lasson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Karadjov has managed to get both his arms back between Lasson's legs - danger averted.
Karadjov content to stall in guard here.
Lasson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Karadjov is defending well. Lasson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Karadjov has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lasson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

A very excited looking Gunnar Lasson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
