Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zakari Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Laranja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Zakari Moss has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Zakari Moss seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laranja misses with a straight left.
We've been hearing reports that Moss has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Moss shoots in and drives through. Laranja sprawls well.
Moss dives in and grabs Laranja's left leg, looking for a takedown. Laranja pushes down on Moss's head and hops out.
Moss jabs Laranja to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Moss takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

And Laranja tries to counter it with a takedown but Moss pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moss tries to score a power double leg takedown but Laranja sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moss somewhat.

Moss has his foot on Laranja's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Laranja works his way back into a safe position though.

Laranja drops back looking for a leg! Moss is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moss manages to kick Laranja off! Laranja jumps back into Moss's guard.

Moss wants to improve his position but instead Laranja has moved into half guard.
Laranja has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Laranja wants to control but Moss is keeping busy.
Laranja is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Laranja has the hooks in. Moss is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Moss is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Laranja is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Moss defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Laranja is cranking Moss's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Moss! He's tightened the choke and Moss is tapping out!
