Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Random Collective (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Collective's choice of entrance music: Barricade. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hopkins.

Collective clinches up against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Collective throws an elbow but misses.
Collective tries to stall but Hopkins uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hopkins avoiding damage.

Collective taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

The referee is keeping an eye on Hopkins - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Collective gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Collective closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hopkins to the mat! Hopkins manages to get full guard.

Collective wants to control from the top but Hopkins keeps moving.

Hopkins is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Collective frees his head nicely. Oh but Hopkins has switched to an armbar! Collective is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
