Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dighead looks to land a combination. Farrell sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Owen Farrell has been cut.
Dighead has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Curtis Dighead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dighead connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Farrell's hands.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Farrell counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Dighead!

Dighead can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Farrell controls the pace.
Farrell slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Farrell is looking to take a break and control but Dighead is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dighead is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Farrell tries to move into full mount but can't pass Dighead's legs.
Dighead struggling a bit here.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dighead tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The cut man is working on Owen Farrell's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dighead throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Farrell counters with a good low kick that Dighead was not able to check.
Dighead looks to land a right hand but Farrell moved out of range.
Dighead tries a head kick but it misses.
Farrell fires out a quick counter leg kick but Dighead just manages to avoid it.
Farrell shoots in looking for a takedown but Dighead manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Farrell's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Farrell lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dighead has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dighead and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Dighead has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dighead misses with the body kick
and Farrell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dighead throws the kick towards the body but Farrell avoids it.
Farrell feinted there with a counter leg kick.
That kick from Farrell tenderised Dighead's leg. Dighead is trying to keep his angry face on.
A solid leg kick lands there for Farrell.

and Dighead counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Dighead throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Farrell on the side of the head.

Farrell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dighead swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Farrell counters with a series of strikes. Dighead will be more careful next time no doubt.

Dighead throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Farrell.
OH! Dighead has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Farrell smells blood and charges in for the finish! Farrell unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Dighead sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
