Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between El Matador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and White Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, El Matador!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, White Gold!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gold gets a takedown into half guard.
Matador is controlling Gold's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Gold is pressing down on Matador's thigh, looking to free his foot. Matador is holding on for now.
Matador wants to get back to his feet.
Matador moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Matador lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Matador got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gold has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Matador has managed to get both his arms back between Gold's legs - danger averted.

Matador drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Matador jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gold throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Gold really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matador. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Matador drops back looking for a leg! Gold is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gold manages to kick Matador off! Matador jumps back into Gold's guard.

Matador has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Matador is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gold defends it well.

Matador is looking for a kimura but Gold is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Matador to get the leverage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Matador connects with a nice short shot to Gold's temple.
Matador thows a huge punch but Gold dodges it nicely.

Matador is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gold is just riding it out for now. Matador eventually gives up the hold.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Matador maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Gold could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Matador has cracked it and Gold is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Matador!

A less than humble El Matador misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
