The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Udric fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nowak, pushing him back against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Udric.

Udric breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nowak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Nowak wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Udric has him pressed against the cage.

Udric has Nowak pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Udric pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Nowak tumbling to the mat - Udric dives into Nowak's guard.

Udric gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Udric went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Some bone on bone action there as Udric checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Udric fires out a quick counter leg kick but Nowak just manages to avoid it.

Nowak gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Udric wants to stand but Nowak is controlling his posture from full guard.
Udric wants to control from the top but Nowak keeps moving.
Nowak is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Udric won't allow Nowak to pass to mount.

Nowak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Udric doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nowak.

Nowak in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Udric tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nowak!
