The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy throws a head kick but Jonathon moves out of range.
Jonathon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nice jab there from Murphy.
Jonathon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Murphy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jonathon somewhat.

Murphy misses with a hook. Jonathon ducked under it nicely.
Murphy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murphy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jonathon.
Murphy is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Murphy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Murphy wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Jonathon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Murphy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jonathon on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Murphy lands a big right hand that sends Jonathon crashing to the mat! Murphy stays standing though and waves Jonathon back to his feet!

Murphy circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Jonathon tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Murphy wins by KO!
