Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samxona closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bham did well to prevent Samxona getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Samxona thows a huge punch but Bham dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Samxona connects with a nice short shot to Bham's temple.

Samxona keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bham's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Samxona is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bham has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Samxona is looking to defend but Bham has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Samxona! Bham pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Samxona taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bim Bham!
