The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volundr misses with a series of wild punches.
Volundr just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromColombo.
Colombo lands with an uppercut that bounces Volundr off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Vidarr Volundr has been cut.
Volundr looks to score with a jab to the body but Colombo is just out of range.
Volundr scores with a hook to the body. Colombo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Volundr fails to land with a series of punches.
Franco Colombo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Colombo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Volundr.

Colombo connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Volundr to the floor! Colombo dives in looking for the finish!

Colombo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Volundr dives on top into guard.

Volundr is fighting to break Colombo's control of his arms but Colombo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Volundr tries to free his leg and advance position but Colombo is retaining full guard.

Volundr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
