The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Light lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Jakub Lubanski has been cut.
Light tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lubanski was well out of range. Poor timing from Light.
Lubanski dips to his left and cracks Light with an uppercut!
Light lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A jab from Light misses.
Lubanski changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A lazy left from Light finds it's target.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lubanski lands with a right hand.

Lubanski avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lubanski! But no joy.
Light uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lubanski.
It looked like Light wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Lubanski misses with a looping right.
Light blocks a jab.
Light cracks a nice hook into Lubanski's ribs.
Lubanski takes a swing at Light's ribcage but misses.
Lubanski throws a lazy right hand but Light sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Light is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Light staying out of range there.
Light swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Light throws a big counter combination but Lubanski scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Light throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lubanski sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lubanski! But no joy.
Light lands with a shot to the body.
Lubanski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Light defends it nicely.
Light throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Light just misses with a punch to the body.
Light throws a body shot but no joy.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lubanski! But no joy.

Light moves forwards but Lubanski connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Light throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Lubanski counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lubanski.
Light keeping full guard, as Lubanski tries to pass.
Light wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Lubanski is now in half guard.
Lubanski content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
It looks like Lubanski might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Lubanski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lubanski is looking to advance position but Light won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jakub Lubanski will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lubanski shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Light napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lubanski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Light is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lubanski goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Light rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lubanski's guard! Nice work there by Light!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Light won't allow Lubanski to sweep him here.

Lubanski has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Light should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lubanski has tightened it up now! Light should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
