The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jacobson closes the distance and clinches up with Persons, looking for a takedown. Jacobson pushes Persons against the cage but Persons circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Persons changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Persons gets a double leg takedown into Jacobson's guard.
Persons slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Persons has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jacobson!
Jacobson throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Jacobson tries to reverse the position but Persons maintains control.
