Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ziggy Cliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edogawa Conan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cliff's entrance music is JAMROCK. A fine choice. Conan has chosen Detective Conan Theme as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Cliff tries to land a front kick but Conan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Conan shoots in for a takedown but Cliff shows good takedown defense.

Conan dives in for a single leg takedown but Cliff sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Cliff parries the strikes from Conan easily there. Conan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cliff to escape.

Conan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Conan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A close round but Edogawa Conan will probably get the nod.
That's time! Cliff's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Conan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Conan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cliff stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

I would just about give that final round to Edogawa Conan.
Well Conan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
