Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quentin DeBramalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuya Shimizu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeBramalo comes into the arena with Also Sprach Zarathustra blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Shimizu's choice of entrance music: Lost Frequencies - Are You With Me. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimizu lands a jab to the head.
Shimizu takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Shimizu throws a hook but DeBramalo blocks it.

DeBramalo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

DeBramalo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shimizu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Shimizu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

DeBramalo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shimizu. That did some damage!

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Shimizu! But no joy.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Shimizu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from DeBramalo - the referee stops the clock and Shimizu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says DeBramalo. Shimizu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

I would just about give that final round to Yuya Shimizu.
Well Shimizu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
