Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arjen Franck Robbery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Billy Greene!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robbery avoids a kick to the body.
Greene checks a leg kick nicely.
Greene throws a counter combo.
Robbery throws a leg kick but Greene sees it coming and moves out of range.
Robbery tries to score a power double leg takedown but Greene sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Robbery somewhat.
Robbery throws a body kick that misses
and Greene cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Greene throws a head kick that misses.
Arjen Franck Robbery seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Greene connects with a crisp jab.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Robbery checks a leg kick.
Greene throws a hook but Robbery avoids it easily.

Greene tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Robbery was well out of range. Poor timing from Greene.

Greene unleashes a big counter combination but Robbery bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Billy Greene is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Greene takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Greene misses with a low kick.
Robbery drops down looking for a counter takedown but Greene sprawls and moves away.
Robbery connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Greene throws a head kick that misses.

Robbery stalks Greene and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Greene's face. Greene staggers backwards, shaken.
Greene blocks a leg kick.
Greene is trying to counter with his kicks.
Robbery throws a nice outside leg kick.
Greene avoids the body shot from Robbery.
Greene takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Robbery displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Greene throws out the jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Robbery.
Greene pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Greene thumps Robbery with a low kick.

Greene flicks out a counter leg kick but Robbery steps away.

Greene lands a nice leg kick that just misses Robbery's sensitive parts.
Robbery fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Greene has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Greene counters by moving into the clinch.
Robbery lands a hook to the side of the head.
Robbery wants a takedown but no success here.
Greene looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Greene breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Robbery will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arjen Franck Robbery. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robbery lands a nice looking body shot.
Robbery stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Robbery crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Greene - the referee stops the clock and Robbery gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Greene. Robbery manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Robbery attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Robbery on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Greene throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Greene takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Greene stuffs the takedown attempt from Robbery. Robbery gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Billy Greene will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Greene throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Robbery lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Robbery lands with a shot to the body.
Robbery slips a jab from Greene.
Robbery half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Greene throws a looping overhand right but Robbery ducks down to avoid it.
Robbery fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Greene looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Robbery shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Greene is trying to maintain the position but Robbery is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Robbery is looking for a kimura but Greene is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Robbery to get the leverage.
Robbery is thwarting Greene's attempts to control the position.

Greene is looking to improve his position.
Robbery wants to pass to mount but Greene is defending the position.
Robbery frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Robbery looking to ground and pound but Greene is blocking nicely.
Robbery throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Greene because Robbery loaded up on that one.
Robbery thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Robbery has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Robbery has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Greene's face.

Robbery is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Greene to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Greene shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robbery misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Greene tries to improve his position but Robbery has taken his back! Robbery has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Greene tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Robbery pushes Greene away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Arjen Franck Robbery decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
