Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ruden.
Ruden avoids the body shot from Bang.
Bang scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Joe Ruden has been cut.
Ruden just misses with a punch to the body.
Bang throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Ruden lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bang circles away quickly and effectively.

Joe Ruden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Bang counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Joe Ruden's cut is getting worse.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bang darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ruden lands a front kick.
Nice defenses there by Ruden.
Bang swings for the body but Ruden moves out of range.
Ruden avoids the body shot from Bang.
Bang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ruden bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Bang appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
A lazy left from Ruden finds it's target.
Ruden dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bang. That did some damage!

Bang takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Joe Ruden's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Ruden throws a jab but it's blocked by Bang.
Bang throws a hook but Ruden blocks it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A chopping leg kick lands by Bang.
Bang Bang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bang connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ruden throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Bang gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bang looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ruden takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ruden finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ruden slips under a jab.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bang fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ruden.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Ruden might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Bang throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Ruden fakes the leg kick and cracks Bang in the body.
Ruden shoots in but Bang avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ruden lands a nice looking body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
