The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiki needs to keep his hands up - Bird had a free shot at his head there.
Wiki attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Wiki misses with a low kick.
Wiki on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bird. Bird obviously looking to wear him down.
Wiki swings away with a leg kick that misses.
William Bird seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bird clobbers Wiki with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bird has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Wiki moves out of range of the strikes.
Wiki was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Wiki has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Wiki lands with an uppercut that bounces Bird off the cage and back into range.
Wiki misses with a hook. Bird ducked under it nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wiki attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Wiki thuds his right hand into Bird's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Bird is rocked!
Bird tries to land a leg kick but Wiki saw it coming and moves away.
Oh Bird is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bird lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wiki looks to land a body kick but Bird moved away.
Bird takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wiki connects with a quick right hand that sends Bird tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the cage, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
