The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dagher feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Dagher punishes Peterson's body with a nice straight punch.
Dagher misses with a low kick as Peterson jumps back.
Peterson is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Peterson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Dagher counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Peterson thinking.

A solid leg kick lands there for Dagher.
Dagher turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Lou Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peterson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dagher.
Peterson throws a right hand that Dagher ducks under and follows up with a left that Dagher also avoids with ease.
Peterson just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromDagher.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dagher plants his feet and throws a devastating head kick! It connects square on Peterson's ear and has knocked him out cold! No need for a count here as the referee immediately tends to a stricken Peterson, crumpled in the corner! Wow, what a finish!
