Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buford Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne throws a left and a right that both miss

and Schultz counters with a shoot takedown. Payne fights it but they end up in guard.
Schultz advances position into side control!
Schultz slows the pace down.
Schultz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Schultz content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schultz is trying to get an arm triangle but Payne is defending well.

Payne is trying to escape the position but Schultz is controlling the position.
Schultz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Payne tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Schultz easily slips into full mount!

Payne tries to reverse the position but Schultz maintains control.

Schultz lands a couple of good shots and Payne has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Schultz slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Schultz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Payne for as long as he can get away with.

Payne is trying to defend against the choke here but Schultz has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Schultz Tightens the hold and Payne taps out furiously! Schultz displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
