Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eugeniy Akulenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robledo Puch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akulenko comes to the cage accompanied by Cowboys From Hell. Eugeniy Akulenko is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eugeniy Akulenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Robledo Puch!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puch dives in for a single leg takedown but Akulenko sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Akulenko dips to his left and cracks Puch with an uppercut!
Akulenko avoids the body shot from Puch.
Puch gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Akulenko.
Akulenko misses the shot to the body.
Akulenko slips under a jab from Puch.
Puch throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Akulenko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Puch! But no joy.
Puch tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Akulenko defends well and Puch ends up having to push Akulenko into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Akulenko has been working on his boxing with his coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Akulenko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Puch looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Puch is trying hard to land a takedown here. Akulenko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Akulenko throws a big counter combination but Puch scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

No joy there for Akulenko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And Puch tries to counter it with a takedown but Akulenko pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Puch has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Puch throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and Puch connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eugeniy Akulenko.
I think Puch has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
